OK so Im 4N0 and my phase 2 is going to be at Keesler and I wanted to know how it was, recent grads are prefurred to anwser but any will do. I wanted to know if since it going to be my phase 2 and I have already been out for 3 mounths if I will have to deal with the same BS as my phase 1 tech school. Like will I have accountablity every morning, not be able to wear tank tops in the dorms and marching everywhere i go when i am in uniform. Also how is PT there, is it group pt or just when you want to do it and what are some things you can do around the base. Any info will be great.

I am a little confused. From what i know the 4N0X1 – Aerospace Medical Service tech school is completely at Sheppard ADB in Witchitard Falls, Texas. Has that changed? My sister (also retired AF was a doctor there and she routinely had students in her clinic.
Anyhow…Keesler AFB, Biloxi Mississippi -like to gamble? they have casinos there.
you’ll like it. It’s a nice base. the dorms are relatively new, you have maid service, it’s a different experience for tech school – especially compared to Texas.
Already been out for 3 months… huh? I am afriad i don’t follow you. Normally you go from basic to tech school (all of them) to your first duty assignment. I know the guard and reserves sometimes have to split it up because of class alotments.
You would have similar ‘BS’ in phase 2. in phase 2, you can go off base in uniform, but have to be back by bed check. in phase 3, you can sign out for the weekend, and go off base in civilian clothes. in phase 2 you can’t ride around in a POV (not even your own) – unless that has changed…
Tank tops in the dorms? i am not sure of the dress code these days, but they probably frown on spaghetti straps. I don’t think in phase 2 you have to go off in groups and march every where you go, but it has been almost 24 years since ‘phase 2′ for this guy.
PT? still done in groups. Pipeline (first time) students live in the ‘triangle’, a new dorm complex on the west side of the base. there are a couple of different chow halls, several dorms, dry cleaners, mini bx, etc all right there on the complex. organized PT is done on the sidewalks within the triangle.
things to do on base are about the same as the other bases
